Beacon Referral Group, a newly formed general referral organization, needed a brand identity that would establish authority and inspire trust. In the referral industry, attracting member businesses is relatively straightforward. The greater challenge is building confidence with the clients those businesses hope to serve. Without a strong and credible brand presence, trust breaks down before referrals even begin.
Goal
Develop a professional brand identity that positioned Beacon Referral Group as a trusted authority while reinforcing confidence with prospective clients. The brand needed to communicate clarity, direction, and reliability, all while remaining cost-conscious and scalable for a growing organization.
Approach
The brand concept centered on the beacon as a metaphor for what a successful referral group provides: clear direction toward the right solution. Rather than relying on an obvious standalone icon, the beacon element was thoughtfully integrated into the typography itself, creating a mark that is both distinctive and cohesive.
The design was intentionally simple and bold to convey authority and ensure versatility across platforms. A streamlined branding package was delivered, equipping the organization with the essential assets required for consistent branding without overspending. A logo in all the required versions, fonts and a basic color palette. They got everything they needed and nothing they didn't.
