Hunt Club Needed Visual Identity For Cool Branded Gear
An informal club doesn't need a logo to recruit new members, they just need awesome hats that members are proud to wear.

Challenge:
The club needed cool branded gear and did not have a visual identity.
Goal:
Create an identity for the club that would make their members proud - and perhaps make nonmembers a bit envious.
Approach:
Several different logo concepts were explored, each of which took inspiration from nature. What set the selected concept apart from the others was the balance struck between hunting and conservation. Plus, this informal group loved the incorporation of the shotgun shell where an acorn would be next to the oak leaf. It wasn't just a cool duck icon, this logo was totally unique to them.
For a typical business logo, this overlay of text and icon would not be something ever considered. For a group that just cares about style points and it made since to sacrifice legibility in a play on camoflague.
Outcome:
Seeing club members wearing their hats everywhere they go and proudly brandishing their koozies is proof that this logo landed.
